Opportunity:

Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Job Details:

* 4x12 night shifts (48-hour weeks)
* On-call required as needed
* Weekend shifts required as needed; weekend block schedule may be considered and must be discussed during interview
* Team nursing model with a 1:7 patient ratio; support provided by PCC, LPN, and other staff
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Unit has 48 beds with a daily census of 48
* General med/surg patient diagnoses
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Interpretation Services, and Transportation
* Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience required; 3+ years preferred
* Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
* Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
* Large hospital experience preferred
* EPIC experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry
* Active RN license in the state or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines required
* Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
* Driver's license must be included with submission
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission; RTO will not be honored after an offer has been made
* If assignment includes end-of-year holidays and all three (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) fall within the assignment, traveler must be willing to work 2 of the 3; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, traveler must be willing to work at least 1
* RNs may be floated between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius
