Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts beginning at 6:45 AM, with occasional float to 8:45 AM and 10:45 AM start times
* Schedule includes Saturday, Sunday, and one variable weekday based on weekly staffing needs
* Must work 3 night shifts per assignment
* Weekend availability required
* No on-call requirements
* 13-week contract length
* Option for 48-hour schedule available
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* No guaranteed hours
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Daily census of 90?110 patients across 38 rooms
* Float required to other OR units within the same health system
* Minimum 3 years of OR experience required no first-time travelers accepted
* Travel experience required
* Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required (hard stop)
* Epic charting system experience required (hard stop)
* Case type experience required: General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics (hard stops)
* Ability to circulate an emergent craniotomy required
* Helpful experience includes CT, TX, burn, ortho, sports medicine, hand/foot/ankle, and vascular not required
* Scrubbing of spine from a Level I Trauma Center is highly preferred
* Required certifications: AHA BLS
* Colorado RN license or Compact RN license required
* Required skills include but are not limited to: abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, craniotomy, laparoscopic assisted cases, lumbar fusion, nephrectomy, thyroidectomy, tracheostomy, Whipple procedure, trauma, and more
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services

This facility is a major Level 1 Trauma Center operating a large 41-OR surgical unit that performs a comprehensive range of procedures across multiple specialties. The facility supports a high daily census and provides access to robust interdisciplinary services including respiratory care, radiology, pharmacy, interpretation services, and rapid response teams. It is a high-acuity environment committed to delivering advanced surgical and trauma care to its patient population.
