Opportunity:

MFM Diagnostic Sonographer

Job Details:

* 4x8 day shift schedule, 32 hours per week
* Shift start times vary between 7:00 AM, 7:15 AM, and 7:30 AM
* Shift end times vary between 3:30 PM, 3:45 PM, and 4:00 PM
* Guaranteed contracted hours
* Weekend requirement: approximately 1 weekend every 4 to 6 weeks
* No on-call required
* Daily caseload of approximately 45 visits per day
* Float between two sites: Saint Cloud Hospital and Plaza
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required; local candidates within 50 miles of either facility are not accepted
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Navy Blue for CT Tech/Ultrasound Technologist
* Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS credentialed in Abdomen, OBGYN, Pediatric, or MSK; Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
* Multiple ARDMS specialties preferred
* Vascular experience required, including arterial ultrasounds with bypass grafts and stents
* Education requirement: completion of a two-year Allied Health education program, Associate of Applied Science degree, or graduation from an accredited ultrasound program or bachelor's degree
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Finalized time off requests must be included at time of submission; no RTO within first week of start date and no more than 10 days RTO per assignment

Facility:

This healthcare system includes both an outpatient clinic and an acute care hospital, offering a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging and ultrasound services. The acute care hospital is a Magnet-designated, teaching facility and Level II Trauma center with 479 staffed beds, while the outpatient clinic provides specialized ambulatory care services. Both facilities utilize Epic for charting and offer interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
