Opportunity:

RN - Bone Marrow Transplant

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Every other weekend required
* Call required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Patients include adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 14 patients
* Bone marrow transplant experience required; experience administering cells is not required
* Perform cell and gene therapy administration
* Administer blood products
* Administer chemotherapy and conditioning treatments
* Provide supportive care administration and triage
* Required skills include: accessing and managing ports, central line care and blood draws, infusion pump management, IV push administration of chemotherapy, cytotoxic therapy, CAR-T, stem cell therapies, isolation precautions and PPE, phlebotomy, PICC line care, and management and disposal of cytotoxic spills
* Required certifications: BLS; Chemo (ONS/ONCC) and OCN preferred
* Michigan nursing license must be in-hand at time of submission (compact license not accepted)
* 2 manager or supervisor references required prior to start
* No requested time off during the first week of contract

The unit is supported by an extensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, radiology, and social services.
