Opportunity:

Trauma ICU - Level I Trauma

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts per week
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed
* 14-room unit with 16 beds serving adult patients
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Level I and Level II trauma experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
* Required skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs
* Preferred skills: Ventilator management, ICP monitoring, Level I Trauma experience
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center offering a specialized Trauma ICU with comprehensive interdisciplinary support services. The unit is equipped to handle high-acuity adult patients and provides access to a full range of ancillary services including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The facility maintains consistent staffing ratios across all shifts to ensure quality patient care.
