RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

* Schedule consists of 2 ten-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and 2 eight-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) totaling 36 hours per week
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:2 with 3 rooms and 11 beds; average daily census of 20
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Experience required with the following procedures: ERCP, ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS Procedures, Colonoscopy, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), and ION Procedure
* Skills required include administering and monitoring conscious sedation, circulating, and scrubbing
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Unit systems include Pyxis and Epic
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Blackout dates for time off: Spring Break (April 4th - 12th)
* 2 to 3 weekends required per contract
* No floating required
* Call requirements include 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per 6-week schedule
* If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all applicable holidays; if three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of them
* Major holidays include: New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve and Day
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
