Open Position: RN - ICU

Opportunity:

ICU RN

Job Details:

* Rotating shifts or straight nights available
* Weekend coverage required
* 2:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
* 22-bed ICU unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Cerner charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
* Must be proficient in arterial line management, central line care/management, and ventilator management
* Must be comfortable titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
* Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, and care of ventilated patients required
* Must be able to manage continuous IV sedation and IV insulin protocols
* Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring required
* Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias required
* Must be comfortable with blood product administration and emergency medications
* Experience with CVVHD/CRRT, ECMO, and ventricular assist devices (LVAD/RVAD) preferred
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
* Must be willing to float within the hospital as needed
* Must be available to work every other holiday
* Active PA or Compact license required

This facility is a community hospital offering comprehensive intensive care services supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams. The ICU unit consists of 22 beds and provides advanced critical care for adult and geriatric patients, with access to a wide range of specialized procedures and equipment to support complex patient needs.
