Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call required
* Must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery
* No floating to sister facilities required
* Guaranteed hours: facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted for nights position only
* Travel experience required
* Must have recent critical care experience
* RRT only CRT not accepted
* South Carolina RCP (Respiratory Care Provider) license must be in hand at time of start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) all must be in hand at time of start
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Free parking available
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), intubation assist, extubation, tracheostomy care and management, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), mechanical ventilation weaning, bronchoscopy, nitric oxide (INo), inhaled Flolan, and additional respiratory therapy competencies
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

This facility is a large regional medical center with 396 staffed beds, offering a comprehensive range of clinical services and interdisciplinary support. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides access to a broad support network including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more.
