Job Details:

* Day shift position in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
* Four rooms running daily with operations maintained until 5:00 PM
* Call is required and averages approximately 10 days per month, including weekends
* On-call schedule includes 1-2 weekends per month and 1-2 weekdays per week
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Scrub experience required
* NBSTSA or NCCT certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily case volume of approximately 6 cases
* Perform and assist with complex open-heart and vascular procedures including CABG, ECMO, Impella, TAVR, TCAR, EVAR, lung resection, and robotic heart and lung procedures
* Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Atrial Septal Defect repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Mitral Valve Replacement, Sterilization/Disinfection, TEVAR, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and Robotic hearts and lungs
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within their scope based on facility needs

This facility is a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room specializing in complex open-heart and vascular procedures. The facility operates four rooms daily and performs a wide range of cardiac procedures including CABG, ECMO, Impella, TAVR, TCAR, EVAR, and robotic-assisted surgeries, with the exception of transplants.
