Opportunity:

PET Technologist

Job Details:

* Work 5x8-hour shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM and varying end times between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
* No holiday shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Saturday shifts may be required up to twice a month if needed due to camera downtime or excessive backlog
* No floating between service lines or sister facilities
* Perform PET/CT scans and a full range of nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans, brain scans, cardiac imaging, renal studies, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, gastric emptying, ventilation/perfusion scans, and whole body imaging
* Experience with Siemens scanner equipment required
* Must be capable of starting and maintaining IVs and drawing venous blood
* Must be proficient in proper storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Scrub color: Teal top and black pants
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Parking cost applies on nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Level I and Level II trauma experience preferred
* Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT), and SCRQSA state license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
