Job Details:
* Work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
* One to two weeknights of call required per week
* On-call every fourth weekend
* Work in Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure settings
* Verify package integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies
* Prepare patient and equipment for utilization of sterile technique
* Prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization following procedures
* Monitor and record all procedural data and maintain procedural event logs
* Provide patient comfort and familiarity with equipment and supplies needed for procedures
* Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites including sterile drapes
* Use sterile and aseptic technique when scrubbing into procedures for infection prevention
* Advocate for radiation safety and protection for self and coworkers
* Wear personal radiation dosimeter and take necessary precautions to limit patient and staff exposure
* Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses and evaluate reports against established safety limits
* Must be a graduate of an accredited radiology program
* Required certifications and licensure: AART registration, Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License, Cardiovascular Technologist registration, BLS Certification, and ACLS Certification
