RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Job Details:

* 24/7 department coverage with 12-16 therapists on day shift and 10-13 therapists on night shift
* Every other weekend required unless specified otherwise
* No on-call requirements
* Holiday coverage required based on assignment period: expected to work 1-2 holidays if they fall within assignment; if 3 holidays fall within assignment, 2 must be worked
* Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
* Scrub color: any color except all red or all navy blue
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics
* Cover all floors throughout the hospital including a 30-bed ICU, 25-bed Open Heart unit, 25-bed NICU, and a 47-bed/5 Trauma ED
* Required skills include ventilator management, medicated aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, Open Heart, intubation, ABG draws and analysis, CPT, and Nitric Oxide management
* Required equipment experience: Epic, Servo I, GE, Hamilton, and PB840
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT, and Georgia state license
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Charting system experience with Epic required

The facility includes a 30-bed ICU, a 25-bed Open Heart unit, a 25-bed NICU, and a 47-bed Emergency Department with 5 trauma bays.
