Job Details:

* 3-day schedule with 12-hour shifts, running 11:00 AM?11:30 PM or 3:00 PM?3:30 AM
* Weekend shifts required to meet staffing needs
* Average daily census of 65 patients
* Patient ratios of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required between Santa Rosa and Petaluma locations
* Minimum of 1.5 years of experience required
* California state license required; pending license not accepted
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
* Charting system experience required (any system accepted)
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I and Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Patients served include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions/PPE, and triage
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services and pharmacy
* Scrub color: royal blue
* Pre-approved time off: up to one request permitted
* RTO restrictions: no more than 7 days; requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years (can include Charge RNs/Leads)
