CVOR Winter Holiday Needs

Job Details:

* Charge RN role with a $5/hr compensation bump for charge responsibilities
* Weekend schedule runs Friday through Sunday
* Call required - variable, typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5 to 6 weeks
* Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed, including to Main OR
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Patients include adults and geriatric age groups
* Charting system experience required - Epic
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Lobe resection, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, Scrub Thoracic Surgery, Scrub Vascular Surgery, Thoracotomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), and Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD)
* Holiday coverage is expected - if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
* Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests can be made post-offer or on-site
* No requested time off permitted during orientation week (Monday through Sunday)
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* No consecutive weekend time off requests permitted
* No self-scheduling; block schedules are not honored
* Travel pairs are not accepted
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services and interpretation services
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
