Opportunity:

ER RN needed

Job Details:

* 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
* Holiday coverage required
* No call, charge, or float responsibilities
* Blocked schedule requests may be considered if requested at time of profile submittal
* 13-week contract
* 9-bed emergency department in a critical access hospital setting
* Patient ratio of 2:1 on nights
* Treats patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* 2+ years of RN experience required
* Travel experience required - first-time travelers are not accepted
* Small ED work history preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Charge experience preferred
* Scrub color: Burgundy
* Charting system: Cerner EMR (experience required)
* Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
* Preferred certifications: CPI, MAB, NRP, TNCC
* Required skills include: IV start, triage, phlebotomy, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, 12-lead EKG/ECG, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, chest tube management, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, intubation, IV vasopressors, continuous IV sedation, continuous IV paralytics, splint application, isolation precautions/PPE, and management of behavioral/psychiatric patients
* WV or Compact nursing license required; pending license accepted for submission
