Job Details:

* Must be open to all shift times - specific shift requests cannot be accommodated
* Shift start times are 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM
* Self-schedule based on seniority
* Patient ratio is 1:1
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Weekend requirement may exceed every other weekend to meet unit need
* No on-call required
* No floating between units required
* Block schedule accommodated per unit need
* Facility may call off once every two-week pay period (guaranteed hours)
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking available
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics
* Very busy department serving mostly emergency department patients with some outpatients
* High volume primary stroke receiving center
* Transport support available, though technologists are encouraged to assist when needed
* Equipment includes 1 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 1 64-slice GE Lightspeed
* Required skills include: CT imaging of the abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma; preparation and administration of contrast media; radiation safety; isolation precautions/PPE; vascular CTA; and experience with GE and Toshiba systems

Facility:

This acute care hospital operates with 212 staffed beds and provides a wide range of medical services to the community. The facility features a high-volume emergency department that serves as a primary stroke receiving center and supports a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The department utilizes advanced imaging technology and maintains a fast-paced environment focused on delivering quality patient care.
