Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* 48-hour weekly guarantee
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call or standby requirements
* No self-scheduling; scheduled according to facility needs
* Travelers may be required to float before core staff as needed
* 2 shifts of unit/department specific orientation provided
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* BLS/CPR certification required and must be obtained prior to first day
* RN duties include management of IVs, PICC lines, mediports, and central lines, as well as IV antibiotics, blood, and IV fluids
* LPN duties include medication passing, wound care, foley/catheter care, PEG tube feedings, ostomy care, and tracheostomy care
* CNA ratio is 1:10; RN/LPN ratio is 1:15
* EMR system used is Point Click Care; charting system is EPIC
* RN scrub color: navy blue; LPN scrub color: navy blue; CNA attire: gray scrub pants with any print top
* BSN not required

Facility:

This post-acute care facility operates as a skilled nursing and long-term care (SNF/LTC) setting with 60 total residents across two units of 30 residents each, all housed in private rooms. The facility supports a mix of long-term residents and short-stay residents working to regain strength before returning home, treating common diagnoses such as sepsis, femur fractures, NSTEMI, chronic kidney failure, CHF, and UTIs. An interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social services, case managers, dieticians, a pharmacist, and medical records staff are all available on site, with physicians accessible by phone 24/7.
