Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Unit operates with a 4:1 patient ratio with flexibility up to 5:1 during staffing shortages
* 25-bed Progressive Care Unit located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 6 staff RNs, and 3 PCTs
* Manage stroke patients, cardiac drips, patients on continuous BiPAP, and post-procedure patients
* Work with equipment including BiPAP, restraints, AirVO, seizure precaution setups, bedside monitoring, and telemetry
* Utilize Meditech EMR system
* Perform emergent thoracentesis and telemetry monitoring procedures
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
* Preferred qualifications include preceptor experience and charge nurse experience
* Ideal candidate is a compassionate team player who communicates well with interdisciplinary teams and demonstrates integrity
