Job Details:
* Start times will vary between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM as needed
* Rotating weekend schedule - weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
* No on-call requirements
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Block scheduling type; open to block schedule accommodation at manager's discretion
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period (guaranteed hours)
* Every Sunday night weekend shift commitment required
* At least 1 year of CT Tech experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Free parking available
* May be required to float to a sister facility nearby
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio is 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, CRT, Fluoroscopy Permit, California state license
* Required skills include: 3D rendering, abdomen with/without contrast, brain perfusion, chest imaging, CT arthrography, emergency department, enterography, head imaging, musculoskeletal trauma, multiplanar reconstruction, pediatric acute and outpatient care, pelvis imaging, radiation safety, Siemens equipment, vascular CTA, venipuncture, and X-ray
* Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
Facility:
This is an acute care hospital with 488 total staffed beds, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility operates at a Trauma Level II designation and supports a wide range of patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
