Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed is an option
* Work in a 40+ bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio (3 rooms and 1 hall bed in high volume)
* Day shift staff includes CNC, Team Leads, RN, Advanced Paramedic, EDT, MHSC, and Secretary
* Night shift staff includes CNC, Team Leads, RN, Advanced Paramedic, EDT, MHSC, and Secretary
* Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring/interpretation
* Work with equipment including cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, Lifepak, and more
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certifications for RN: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI
* Must be adaptable and a strong team player
* High pressure experience in a previous role preferred
* Outgoing and positive demeanor under pressure preferred
* Dress code for RN: Gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms
* Appropriate colored T-shirts are allowed under a nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket

This facility is a full-service medical center housing a first-floor Emergency Department with 40+ beds and a staff of 120+ professionals. The department is equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed around the clock with a multidisciplinary team to support high-acuity and high-volume patient care. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and maintains structured team roles across both day and night shifts.
