PT - Acute Care / Inpatient Rehab Coverage

Job Details:

* Primarily work in acute care settings covering mid-level critical care floors, med surgical floors, ortho floor, and occasionally inpatient rehab evaluations and treatments
* Schedule from November 16, 2026 through December 13, 2026 based in Lufkin, with possible weekend coverage during this period
* Schedule from December 14, 2026 through January 9, 2027 based in Livingston, weekdays only with no weekend coverage during this period
* Main schedule is Monday through Friday with hours between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM
* Flexible scheduling options available including 4x10-hour shifts and/or 5x8-hour shifts
* Possible planned weekend coverage available
* Expected to treat 4 patients in the inpatient rehab unit and complete documentation within an 8-hour day
* Required to produce 22 units per 8-hour day
* Approximately 90% of work will be performed on the inpatient rehab unit with the remaining 10% on the ortho unit and med surgical floors
* Must be experienced and independent - not a new graduate level clinician
* Will work as part of a team that includes PT, OT, and SLP staff
* Charting system: Allscripts
* Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Required certifications: BLS Certification

This inpatient acute care facility operates across two locations and provides comprehensive rehabilitation and medical services. The facility maintains a dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to support a wide range of patient needs across critical care, medical surgical, orthopedic, and inpatient rehabilitation units.
