Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Holiday rotation required
* On-call rotation required with staff
* May float to Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed
* Floating required to sister facilities and throughout all buildings when needed
* Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 40 orientation hours required
* Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with previous experience
* Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Siemens equipment experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT)
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Agency must supply radiation badge - facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Parking: Nights and weekends cost only; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 130 patients
* 3 rooms available
* Equipment includes: Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
* Preferred IR/Angio/Special Procedures experience including biopsies and drainage
* Key skills include: CT imaging of head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal trauma, multiplanar reconstruction, 3D rendering, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, and PACS

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. It serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and provides a wide range of services including routine studies, outpatient care, cardiac procedures, and Interventional Radiology. The facility is equipped with advanced Siemens CT imaging technology and operates across multiple buildings and campuses.
