Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Daily caseload of 6.5 out of 8 hours of contact time with patients, with individual treatment times ranging from 30 to 60 minutes
* Occasional weekend shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Primary position in Inpatient Rehab Program with potential to float to acute care based on census fluctuations
* Work within a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation facility on the 9th floor with 28 patient beds
* Chart using Epic
* Wear Misty Grey (light grey/silver) scrubs
* No parking costs
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* 2 to 3 years of experience with Inpatient Rehab Facility required
* Current South Carolina state licensure required
* Required certifications: BLS, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
* Required skills: NMES (Vital Stim) and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency

This facility is a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation facility located on the 9th floor of a 396-bed hospital. The organization provides comprehensive rehabilitation services and supports interdisciplinary care for patients requiring intensive inpatient therapy. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains high standards of patient care across both inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings.
