Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Holiday rotation required
* On-call rotation with staff required
* May be required to float to Interventional Radiology (IR)
* Floating required to sister facilities and rotating through all buildings when needed
* Daily caseload of approximately 60 exams with 6 per hour per tech
* Perform primarily cardiac exams (approximately 75% cardiac), as well as routine studies, stroke patient imaging, and Interventional Radiology procedures
* Perform advanced CT procedures including 3D rendering, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, colonography, myelography, and vascular CTA
* Operate Siemens Naeotom Alpha Photon Counting (Somaris 10) and Siemens X.Cite (Somaris 10) equipment
* Chart using Epic system
* Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Attend staff meetings as expected
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 40 orientation hours required
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Radiation badge must be supplied by agency
* Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Siemens experience and Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Preferred skills include biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT)
* South Carolina license must be in hand at time of start; pending licenses are not accepted
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of application

This facility is a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with 865 staffed beds. It operates a dedicated Heart and Vascular Hospital and provides a full range of advanced imaging services, including Interventional Radiology procedures. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and is equipped with cutting-edge Siemens photon counting CT technology, supporting a high-volume and complex patient population across multiple campus locations.
