Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2216.56

Opportunity:

MS/Tele RN

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend required, sometimes every third weekend
* Patient ratio of 1:5 on nights and weekends
* No floating required at this time
* Block scheduling available
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Manage patients with diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, orthopedic conditions, chest pain, pneumonia, and COPD
* Administer and titrate insulin drips and Cardizem drips; no ventilator management required
* Daily census of 10-12 patients
* Required skills include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, heparin protocols, PICC line management, IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias, wound care, and non-invasive airway management
* Proficiency with Pyxis and EPIC required
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA preferred)
* Michigan nursing license must be active by start date; compact license not accepted
* All requested time off must be submitted at the time of profile submission; maximum 5 days RTO per contract
