Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts
* Weekend requirements apply
* No holiday requirements
* Primary coverage in Skilled Nursing Unit with possible acute care in the joint connection unit
* Cover all floors of the hospital as needed
* Treat various diagnoses across acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled, and outpatient settings
* 19-bed unit located on Thomas Ortho campus within the hospital
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* Royal blue scrubs required
* Department-specific orientation provided
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or greater; 1 shift per assignment less than 13 weeks
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA) Verification
* Must hold Physical Therapist License, Physical Therapist Temporary License, or Physical Therapist Compact License through the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists

This healthcare facility operates a dedicated Physical Therapy department within a skilled nursing unit, offering a collaborative and well-supported rehabilitation environment. The facility provides care across multiple settings including acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient services. The department is supported by a structured team including a director, lead therapist, PTAs, and rehab aides, ensuring comprehensive patient care across all floors of the hospital.
