Opportunity:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Home Care

Job Details:

* Home care setting serving patients across a territory with a mileage radius of 40-80 miles
* Mileage reimbursed at $0.55 per mile
* Self-scheduling with no on-call requirements
* No weekend requirements
* Approximately 6 patient visits per day
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13-week contract
* Maximum of 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Gray
* Required certification: BLS
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy and social services
* Skills include activities of daily living, adaptive equipment assessment, home health care, OASIS, patient/family education, plan of care, safety and injury prevention, lifting and transfer, cognitive assessment, discharge planning, and reassessments
