Job Details:

* 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, weekdays
* On-call responsibilities include occasional weeknight call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend on-call only: one weekend per month (in a 5-week schedule may appear as 2 weekends) call only on Saturday and until 11:00 PM on Sunday
* Guaranteed hours: 32?40 hours per week
* No floating required
* 14-room OR unit with an average daily census of 25 cases per day
* Patients served: Adults and Geriatrics
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with required scrub experience
* CV/Cardiovascular experience is required candidates without CV or General Surgery experience will not be considered
* CVOR Required: Must be able to scrub Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, and Pericardial Window
* CVOR Preferred: Atherectomy, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, TAVR, and VAD
* Surgery Required: General, Endo/Laparoscopic, and Thoracic
* Surgery Preferred: Vascular, Urology, and Ortho/Total Joints
* Types of cases include scrubbing, circulating, and equipment documentation
* Special equipment used: OR Tables, Stirrups (Yellow Fin), Battery Operated Equipment, Positioning Aids, endoscopes, laparoscopic equipment, and robotic modules (training provided on-site)
* Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
* Required certifications: NBSTSA and BLS (AHA)
* WV or Compact OR Tech License required; pending license accepted for submission but must be active prior to start
* Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles or more from the facility; candidates between 75?99 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
