Opportunity:

RN - Pediatric Oncology

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts
* Weekend coverage required
* Must be able to float to other facility locations within a 75+ mile radius
* Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Oncology or Inpatient Oncology experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, and adults
* Patient diagnoses include Hematology/Oncology/BMT and medical overflow
* Patient ratio experience of 4 patients required
* Required certifications: California RN License, BSN, AHA BLS, PALS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Preferred certifications: APHON, Chemo (ONS/ONCC)
* Preferred experience: Hematology/Oncology, Epic
* Key skills include: administration of chemotherapy, central line care, port access and management, IV push administration, continuous infusion of chemotherapy, blood and blood product administration, PICC line care, foley catheter insertion and management, phlebotomy, wound care, neutropenic precautions, isolation precautions and PPE, PCA pump management, infusion pump management, and patient and family education and support
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
