Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour weekend shifts in the NICU on the 2nd Floor of the Main Hospital
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 13-week assignment length
* No on-call requirements
* Self-scheduling available
* Float as needed
* 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience required
* Level III NICU experience required
* Must be able to attend deliveries including C-Sections
* Experience with equipment including BCPAP and HFNC
* Patient ratio of 2:3
* Documentation systems used: Meditech and CPN
* Meditech experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS and NRP
* Active TX RN license required (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
* Dress code: Royal blue and/or white scrubs
* No artificial nails, gel, next gen, or similar nail products permitted
* Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
* No extreme hair styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be neatly trimmed
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings

Facility:

This facility houses a 7-bed NICU unit providing specialized neonatal care at the Level III designation. The unit utilizes advanced respiratory equipment including BCPAP and HFNC to support its neonatal patient population. The facility maintains a self-scheduling model and utilizes Meditech and CPN documentation systems to support its clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
