Job Details:
* 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
* Call required as needed; approximately 1 week of call over a 12-17 week contract period
* On-call shifts include 24 hours on Saturday and 24 hours on Sunday within the call rotation
* Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Block scheduling type
* Float to any campus location may be required as needed
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* EPIC (CUPID and XPER Witt) experience required for hemodynamic monitoring
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* RCIS/RCES strongly preferred but not required
* ARRT or CCI certification preferred
* Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
* Perform scrub and EKG procedures
* Perform invasive cath procedures including balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, and left and right heart catheterization
* Perform rotablator atherectomy and adjunct cardiac therapies including CSI atherectomy, IMPELLA, IABP, ACIST, OCT, Swan, IVUS, and Angiojet
* Perform EP lab procedures including device implantation and ablation
* Perform EP studies and PV lab procedures including fistula, AO/LE runoff, pedal access, and thrombectomy
* Manage radial, ulnar, and femoral access sites
* Perform hemodynamic monitoring and conscious sedation
* Treat diagnoses including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmia, irregular rhythms, and abnormal electrical function of the heart
* Handle 25-35 invasive cath procedures per day
* Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
* Active license must be in hand at submission
* No local candidates within a 50-mile radius; current driver's license required to verify address
* One pre-approved time off request permitted; must be submitted with the application
