Opportunity:

RN - Ortho/Trauma

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour shifts per schedule period
* Three weekend shifts required per schedule period
* Patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5
* Unit supports 23 beds on a 6 East Ortho/Trauma unit
* Unit staffing includes Unit Secretaries and Patient Care Technicians
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Equipment includes traction, fixators, and cooling equipment
* Bedside shift report and hourly rounding required for patient experience
* Float policy: Contract labor is first to float to other MedSurg level of care units including General MS, Nephrology, and Neuro/Trauma
* Care for post-op knee, hip, and shoulder replacement patients as well as trauma and some neuro overflow patients
* Ortho experience required
* Telemetry and NIH experience required
* Required certifications: BLS
* Active RN license required
* Dress code: Navy scrubs
