Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Day shift hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* Rotating weekends every 3 to 4 weekends
* No on-call requirements
* Work within a 72-bed facility alongside 2 physical therapists, 1 occupational therapist, and PRN speech therapy staff
* Acute care experience required, including ICU/CCU experience as candidate may be the only PT on weekends
* Wound care experience preferred but not required
* Typical procedures include open heart, TAVR, and LVAD implant patient care
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required dress code: Caribbean blue or khaki bottom scrubs with a navy polo top
* Must demonstrate strong time management, attendance, and ability to work independently
* Ability to participate in high levels of coordination and communication throughout the day required

This specialized cardiac hospital provides advanced cardiovascular care in a focused, small-hospital environment that fosters exceptional communication between providers, therapy staff, and other care team members. The facility uses iMobile technology to streamline communication with hospitalists, case managers, and nursing staff. The therapy team is highly experienced, with staff physical therapists bringing 15 and 30+ years of experience, including a certified wound care therapist, creating a very supportive environment for contractors. The hospital has received multiple local and national recognitions in 2023 and 2024.
