RN - Emergency Room

Job Details:

* Evening shift with start times of 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, or 4:00 PM
* 36 or 48 hours guaranteed per week
* EPIC experience required
* Holiday RTO will not be approved
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care
* Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care delivery
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
* Acute care facility experience: Preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
* Current nursing license per state of assignment required
