Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts Sunday through Tuesday
* No floating to other units or departments
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab required
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS
* Must be able to scrub, monitor, and drive the x-ray equipment
* Must be able to manage external equipment including Medrad, Defibrillator, temporary pacer, IVUS, Rotablator/CSI/Laser, Angiojet, and similar devices
* Perform diagnostic procedures including Left and Right heart catheterizations, PCIs, CTOs, and Impella/IABP support
* Assist with structural heart procedures including TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, and PFO/ASD closures
* Assist with EP procedures including scrub and pan for EP studies and device implants
* Assist with IR procedures including peripheral interventions, TIPS/DIPS, embolizations, thrombolysis, nephrology/biliary/drainage tubes, ports, and IVC filters
* On-call requirement averages 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month, including short call Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
* Charting system: EPIC; hemodynamics and procedural logging via McKesson
* Hospital-supplied scrubs provided as dress code
* Orientation consists of 1-2 days shadowing another technician before taking call independently

Facility:

This is a Level 2 Trauma acute care facility with 370 beds and a 30-bed emergency room. The facility operates five catheterization suites, including one dedicated EP bi-plane suite, one hybrid suite located in a separate OR, two standard cath suites, and one IR suite. The facility uses EPIC as its electronic medical record system and supports a wide range of advanced cardiac, structural heart, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures.
