Job Details:

* Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* On-call required: up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
* Weekend requirement: up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
* Holiday requirement: traveler will be required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's)
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* 2 years of experience strongly preferred
* Scrub experience strongly preferred
* RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Block scheduling available with manager approval based on unit needs
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The main operating room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, operating within a busy and dynamic nurse-driven department that provides cutting-edge technology to the community.
