Job Details:

* Work 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM at Main location
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call requirements
* Floating required to sister facilities and rotating through all buildings as needed
* Expected to attend all staff meetings
* Guaranteed hours subject to facility calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 40-hour orientation required
* Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with previous experience
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT)
* SC license must be in hand at time of start - pending license not accepted
* Required experience: PIV, Siemens equipment, and Level 1 Trauma
* Radiation badge must be provided by agency - facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Parking: Nights and weekends only - one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Patient age groups: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Work with Siemens Force x2, Go.Top, and Definition AS equipment
* Perform a wide range of CT procedures including Level 1 Trauma, routine studies, outpatient, cardiac, and interventional radiology procedures
* Skills include 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, brain perfusion, vascular CTA, coronary CTA, myelography, PACS, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and radiation safety
* IR/Angio special procedures experience preferred, including biopsies and drainage

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds and a daily census of 130 patients. The facility also serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and provides a broad scope of services including routine studies, outpatient care, cardiac procedures, and interventional radiology. The CT department operates 3 rooms equipped with advanced Siemens technology, supporting a high-acuity patient population across multiple campus locations.
