Open Position: RAD Tech - Cath Lab

Opportunity:

Cardiac Catheter Lab / Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Handle a case load of 7 cases per day
* Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
* Treat patients with cardiovascular diseases
* Perform cardiac catheterizations, permanent pacemaker (PPM) implants, and peripheral angiographies
* Operate Philips X-ray, Impella, balloon pump, and Acist injector equipment
* Utilize EPIC and Merge charting systems (EPIC experience preferred)
* On-call requirement of 9 shifts per month: Monday through Thursday call from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM; one weekend per month with Friday call from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Saturday/Sunday call from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM
* Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays
* Any requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to offer
* Float within skillset required; no exceptions
* 1 year of clinical experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS
* Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted

Facility:

This facility features a dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory equipped with advanced imaging and interventional technology to support a wide range of cardiovascular procedures. The unit operates with interdisciplinary support from respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial staff. The facility maintains a structured scheduling environment and upholds high standards for patient care across all cardiac and vascular procedures.
