Opportunity:
Inpatient Rehab OT
Job Details:
* Day shift position with variable weekend coverage, otherwise 1 weekend per month required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:6 with approximately 6 visits per day
* Daily census of approximately 40 patients
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Patient diagnoses include medical, oncology, orthopedic, surgical, neuro, and cardiac conditions
* Float between units as needed
* Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
* Acute care OT experience preferred
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Charting via Epic (experience preferred)
* Scrubs in any color accepted
* No parking fee
* Required certifications: BLS, WA License
* Required skills include: Acute Care, Adaptive Equipment Assessment, Amputee Care, Cognitive Assessment, Community Re-entry, CVA Rehabilitation, Dementia/Alzheimer's Care, Hip Fracture and Total Hip Replacement, Knee Injuries and Total Knee Replacement, Lifting and Transfer, Perceptual Assessment, Patient/Family Education, Pre-Discharge Planning, Safety and Injury Prevention, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Upper Extremity
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
