Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
* Evening shift, 5x8 hours with a primary start time of 1:30 PM, though hours may vary depending on departmental staffing and operational needs
* Other possible start times include 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, or 3:00 PM
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy
* Strong multimodality candidate preferred - CT experience is required with additional support in X-ray and OR preferred
* Candidates proficient in at least two of the three modalities (CT, X-ray, and OR) will be considered
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Use PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* Must have EPIC experience
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
* Required certifications and licenses: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT), Radiologic Tech (RT) state license in California, Advanced Certification in CT modality (preferred in CA), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, Fluoroscopy license (required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment), Venipuncture certification (required in CA if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials)
