MRI Tech

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Tuesday
* Contract length of 13-20 weeks
* No on-call requirement
* Float between Ortho location and main hospital required
* Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team, and may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers will not be accepted
* Recent hospital experience required
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR
* Required skills: abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE
* Preferred skills: chest, image post-processing
* Patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics (preferred familiarity), adolescents, adults, and geriatrics (required)
* Special equipment: GE and Siemens
* Documentation system: EPIC
* Scrubs: Royal blue
* Orientation held 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM during first week; traveler must be fully available for all orientation classes

This healthcare facility is a large hospital system offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including advanced imaging capabilities. The MRI department is equipped with GE and Siemens technology and utilizes EPIC for documentation. The facility serves a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics and maintains high standards for clinical excellence and patient care.
