Opportunity:

745C Sleep Disorder Lab - Polysomnographic Tech

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Schedule runs Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights
* No local candidates within 50 miles accepted
* Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty required
* Prepare adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and equipment for sleep disorders testing
* Monitor polysomnogram and document per policy
* Demonstrated expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations required
* Strong written and oral communication skills required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS and current unrestricted certification or registration as a Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
* Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
* Must work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
