Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1919.92

Job Details:

* 3x12 day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* Holiday rotation required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call requirements
* Must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery
* No floating required to sister facilities
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Must have recent critical care experience
* RRT only - CRT not accepted
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* South Carolina RCP (Respiratory Care Provider) license must be in hand at time of start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) - all must be in hand at time of start
* Experience with Epic charting system required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Free parking available
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), mechanical ventilation weaning, tracheostomy care and management, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), intubation assist, extubation, bronchoscopy, nitric oxide, inhaled Flolan, pediatric critical care, and NICU
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services

This is a large hospital system with 396 staffed beds offering a wide range of clinical services and specialty support. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides a comprehensive interdisciplinary care environment with access to resources including IV teams, physical therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The organization serves a diverse patient population spanning all age groups from neonates to geriatrics and maintains high standards for clinical excellence and staffing.
