Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with late shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM as needed
* Every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; a weekday off will be provided when scheduled on Saturday
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* 2-3 weekend shifts per month required
* Float between 4 sites: Guilford, North Haven, and two New Haven locations
* Two sites with late hours until 8:30 PM
* 4 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Required skills: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Inpatient, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Guaranteed hours provided
* Patients served are adults

Facility:

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Center with 1,567 staffed beds, offering comprehensive medical services across multiple outpatient locations. The organization utilizes Epic for charting and provides interdisciplinary radiology support. Staff work across a network of medical centers, supporting a wide range of imaging and diagnostic needs for the surrounding community.
