IR Tech

Job Details:

* 4x10 shift schedule
* On-call required as needed, with weekend call shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
* Weekday call begins at 6:30 PM through 7:00 AM
* Weekend coverage is on-call only
* No floating required
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated - traveler must be flexible
* 1 year of IR Tech experience required
* Travel experience required
* Trauma Level I experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Perform IR procedures including TIPS, embolizations (neuro and vascular), spine procedures, Y-90, TACE, tunneled lines, nephrostomy tubes, biliary tubes, PCNL, traumas, strokes, and moderate sedation
* Perform procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, IVC filter placement and removal, liver biopsy, paracentesis, gastrostomy, and uterine arterial embolization
* Maintain sterile field and serve as room circulator
* Treat patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, Fluoro Permit, valid California state license (must be active and in hand at time of submission - no pending or temporary licenses accepted)
* Preferred certification: ACLS
* Education: High School Diploma/GED and Associate's Degree or College Diploma from a JRCERT accredited radiological program required; Bachelor's Degree from JRCERT accredited radiological program preferred
* 2 supervisor or higher references from within the past 1 year of employment required at time of submission
