LTC/TCU CNA

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratios: 1:8 during days and 1:22 during nights
* Float required between Long-Term Care and Transitional Care Unit - typically 3 shifts per 24 hours spent in TCU with remaining time floating to other areas
* Three-week weekend pattern: two weekends on, one weekend off
* Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)
* 24 hours of orientation provided
* 1 year of skilled long-term care or transitional care experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certification: BLS
* Business casual attire required
* Charting system: Net Solutions - charting system experience required
* Free parking available
* Reliable transportation required; travel pairs must each have their own transportation
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 170 with 207 total beds
* Required skills include vital signs monitoring, ambulation assistance, patient feeding assistance, repositioning, bed baths, glucometer use, Hoyer lift operation, isolation precautions/PPE, wound and skin care, pulse oximetry, and safe patient transfers
* Special equipment used: Hoyer lift, PVR, Sit to Stand

This long-term care and transitional care facility serves a diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics, with a capacity of 207 beds and a daily census of approximately 170 patients. The facility provides comprehensive care across both long-term care and transitional care units, supporting patients through a range of medical needs.
