Job Details:

* Start times vary between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM as needed
* Rotating weekends required, may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
* Must work 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* No on-call required
* Strong generalist experience required
* Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ASCP-MLT, State License CDPH
* Scrub color: Navy Blue (RCP/Imaging Lab/Non-Invasive Cardiology/Radiation Oncology/Material Management)

* Required skills include: 24-hour urine, analyzer operation, blood specimen storage, body fluids, cardiac enzymes, CBC manual, CellaVision, crystal identification, factor assays, fibrinogen, hazardous materials and MSDS, hormone testing, immunoassay, manual differential, manual macroscopic UA, microscopic UA, osmolality, pipetting, platelet count, pregnancy testing, quality assurance and controls, rapid test kits, reporting test results, reticulocyte count, QC review and interpretation, rheumatoid factor, RPR, sed rate manual, specimen preparation and receipt, therapeutic drug monitoring, thyroid testing, transmission-based precautions, and tumor markers

This is an acute care hospital with 320 total staffed beds, offering a full range of clinical laboratory services. The facility supports a broad spectrum of patient care needs and maintains high standards for laboratory operations, requiring generalist expertise and proficiency with advanced diagnostic systems and equipment.
