Open Position: Medical Assistant - Medical Assistant

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1641.40

Opportunity:

MA/PSR - Outpatient Clinic

Job Details:

* Front and back office experience required
* Experience with high-end sales or high-profile clientele strongly preferred
* Minimum 3 years of outpatient clinic experience required
* Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA or ARC only)
* High school diploma or GED required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Patient check-in and enrollment experience required
* No weekend shifts required
* Floating required - traveler must be flexible
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Chaperone high-profile patients through all aspects of medical care including enrollment, check-in, payment, imaging, and provider visits
* Perform clinical duties including obtaining vital signs, 12-lead EKG/ECG, venipuncture, urinalysis, and specimen collection
* Conduct administrative duties including insurance verification, authorization forms, and pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
* Daily census of 5-10 patients per day serving adult and geriatric populations
* Outstanding customer service skills required
* Professional appearance is a must
* 2 supervisor or higher references from within the past year required at time of submission

Patients spend up to four hours receiving comprehensive, personalized care throughout their visit, which includes enrollment, check-in, imaging, and provider consultations.
