Job Details:

* Must be open to all shift times including start times of 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM
* Self-scheduling based on seniority
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend to meet unit need
* No on-call required
* No floating between units required
* Facility may call off once every two-week pay period
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking available
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT
* Required skills include: CT imaging of abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma
* Experience with contrast media preparation and administration required
* Proficiency with GE and Toshiba scanners preferred
* Experience with PACS and Fuji Synapse preferred
* Treats patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Very busy department serving primarily emergency department patients with some outpatients
* High-volume primary stroke receiving center
* Transport support available, though technologists are encouraged to assist with transport when needed
* Equipment includes 1 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 1 64-slice GE Lightspeed
* Community hospital experience required
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Facility:

This acute care hospital features 212 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services across a wide range of specialties. The facility operates a high-volume CT department that serves primarily emergency department patients and functions as a primary stroke receiving center. The organization utilizes Epic for charting and maintains modern imaging equipment to support diverse diagnostic needs.
