Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required
* Rotating schedule between day and night shifts based on unit needs - rotation is managed mindfully to avoid frequent flipping between days and nights
* Primary unit is 6AB, a 32-bed Med Surg unit
* Nurse to patient ratio of 4-5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift
* Must float to any Med Surg unit at any of the 3 locations in Fargo as needed
* Perform patient assessments, documentation, nursing tasks, and medication administration
* Utilize Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps
* Must badge in and out at the facility
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg nursing experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds) required
* Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience preferred
* Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Travel experience including successful completion required
* EPIC experience required
* Strong Med Surg experience required; Neuro experience preferred but not required
* Active North Dakota or Compact RN License required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
